Services
Arrowhead Transit provides three main services in Northeastern Minnesota:
Scheduled Bus Service
Arrowhead Transit provides scheduled bus services in Aitkin, Carlton, Cook Itasca, Koochiching, Lake and St Louis Counties. Check the county schedules for specific times, routes and prices. Generally Arrowhead buses provide services during the week and occasionally on weekends.
Dial-A-Ride is a shared-ride, curb-to-curb transit currently offered in these communities:
The dispatcher will ask for:
- Name and phone number.
- Time and exact location of pickup.
- Destination address. (where you want to go)
- Number of people traveling with you.
- The exact time of any appointments.
- Return trip information.
If you are interested in a ride in a community that is currently un-served, please contact us. Even if we can’t provide immediate service, we do track interest.
“Please note that this is a separate service and is NOT Arrowhead Transit bus service!” Rural Rides provides work-related transportation services for low-income individuals* in Cook, Itasca, Lake, and St. Louis Counties. If you live in one of these areas and need assistance, a transportation advocate may be able to assist you with:
