Our Dial-A-Ride on-demand bus service is here to make sure you get where you need to go safely and conveniently.
To ride the Arrowhead Transit bus, simply follow these easy steps:
- Call 800-862-0175: When you call, you’ll be prompted to choose the option number for your area from the list below:
- Aitkin: option 4
- Cambridge: option 12
- Carlton/Cloquet: option 3
- Ely: option 1
- Floodwood: option 3
- Grand Marais: option 8
- Grand Rapids: option 4
- Hermantown: option 9
- International Falls: option 5
- Pine City: option 6
- North Branch: option 13
- Two Harbors: option 7
- Virginia: option 1
- Provide your information to the dispatcher: Let them know where you are, where you want to go, when you want to get there, and when you plan to return.
Please note that our Dial-A-Ride bus service is available only within the city limits of the cities listed above. We recommend scheduling your rides at least one day in advance to guarantee space on the bus, although rides must be scheduled at least one hour in advance.
Purchasing tickets and passes for our buses is a breeze.
Here’s how you can do it: Books of one-way tickets or unlimited monthly passes can be purchased from a bus driver with cash or check. You can also order books of 10 one-way tickets with a credit or debit card by contacting Melinda Nelson at 218-735-6851 or melinda.nelson@aeoa.org.
