At Arrowhead Transit, we’re looking for a Transportation Coordinator III to join our team. As the largest rural public transportation system in Minnesota, we’re committed to providing reliable services and supporting our communities. This position plays a key role in coordinating daily transit operations across a vast service area.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist management in the daily operations of transit services.
• Perform recruitment, screening, and training duties for drivers and staff.
• Communicate route and schedule information to the team and passengers.
• Monitor and report driver job performance and conduct.
• Conduct fare box collections, audits, and reporting.
• Perform dispatching and bus driving duties as needed.
• Coordinate bus service swaps and manage vehicle service information.
• Address customer complaints and concerns.
• Serve as a liaison with community organizations and agencies.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or a combination of experience and education in transit operations.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Must possess a valid CDL with passenger endorsement.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to travel across a large geographical area.
