Arrowhead Transit is currently hiring both Full Time and Part Time bus drivers to transport passengers to and from designated locations. Job Responsibilities:
📍 Safely transport passengers to and from their destinations.
📜 Observe and comply with all federal, state, and local transportation rules and regulations.
🤲 Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking the bus.
🚦 Maintain order and ensure a pleasant experience for all passengers.
🚗 Drive assigned routes using any designated vehicle.
🔎 Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any issues.
📲 Communicate effectively through radio or mobile data terminal.
📝 Complete necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
Job Qualifications:
🔐 Minimum age requirement: 21 years.
🚍 Possess a CDL with passenger endorsement (preferred). If you don’t have a CDL, we provide training to help you obtain it.
🚦 Successfully pass an employer physical exam (DOT), drug test, and an “on-the-road” driving test.
💪 Ability to physically assist handicapped passengers, including pushing/pulling up to 35 lbs regularly and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly, with occasional heavier lifting.
🔒 Authorization for a criminal background check.
