Arrowhead Transit Bus Involved in Minor Crash near Rock Ridge High School Campus

Virginia, MN – 12/12/2024 – At approximately 6:56 am today, Arrowhead Transit was notified of a crash involving one of its buses near the Rock Ridge High School campus in Virginia, MN. The Minnesota State Patrol is currently investigating the incident. The crash occurred when the bus was involved in a collision, but preliminary reports have determined that the Arrowhead Transit driver was not at fault. No injuries from the incident have been reported to the Arrowhead Transit team at this time.

We would like to express our gratitude to the local EMS teams from Virginia and Eveleth for their quick response and careful assessment of our passengers, all of whom were cleared to safely walk away from the scene.

The bus has since been safely removed, and traffic patterns in the area have returned to normal.
