Safe Travels for Kids
At Arrowhead Transit, we believe in safe and comfortable travel experiences for everyone, including kids aged 12 and up! Our buses are designed to ensure that children can travel unaccompanied, giving them the freedom to explore and learn responsibly.
Bus Safety For Kids
We prioritize safety on every trip. Here are some important safety tips for kids riding Arrowhead Transit:
- Listen to and follow the instructions of the driver.
- Use seat belts if available.
- Keep aisles clear of belongings to avoid tripping hazards.
- Wait for the bus to come to a complete stop before standing up to exit.
Bringing Along Bikes and Large Items
Kids can bring bikes and other large items on our buses following our guidelines for secure storage during the ride. Just let our friendly drivers know, and they will assist in safely securing these items.
Help is Always Available
If kids need assistance or feel unwell during the ride, they should notify the bus driver immediately. Our drivers are trained to ensure everyone’s safety and well-being throughout the journey.
What Can Kids Do on the Bus?
Kids are welcome to bring snacks and drinks on board our buses, making the journey even more enjoyable. We also recommend bringing along books, electronic devices, or other quiet activities to keep entertained during the ride. To respect other passengers, we ask that headphones be used to enjoy music, videos, or games.
