Intersystem Transfer with Transit Link

Beginning June 2, 2025, Arrowhead Transit passengers can transfer between our buses and Transit Link in designated areas. This coordination expands access across county lines through scheduled transfers.

How it works:

Passengers must schedule rides with both providers individually.
Before booking with Arrowhead Transit, passengers must confirm their ride with Transit Link by calling 651-602-5465 (follow the prompts for your county).
Passengers pay their fare to the first transit entity and will receive a transfer ticket for the second leg of the trip. The same process applies to return trips.
If a ride is missed, passengers should contact the appropriate dispatch to schedule a return.

Transfers are available between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Important Reminders:

Transit Link and Arrowhead Transit operate under separate policies, service windows, and fares.
A valid transfer ticket is required to avoid paying two separate fares.

This intersystem connection provides greater flexibility for riders traveling across Anoka, Washington, Isanti, and Chisago counties.
