A Grand Rapids bus driver was noticed for his hard work.
Russ Jaeger, who’s worked for Arrowhead Transit for 16 years, is the company’s Employee of the Month for October.
“He is a true team player and well liked by all,” said Sandy Wheelecor, transit manager for Hermantown, and Itasca, Aitkin, Koochiching and Carlton counties. “He is willing to help wherever needed. He knows all of the routes and most of our riders.”
Jaeger has driven Arrowhead Transit’s Northome route for the past three years. He said that the best part of being a bus driver is getting to know all of the people. When he’s not working, Jaeger enjoys hunting and fishing.
