Compensation:

Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of all Transit maintenance programs.
- Manage vehicle preventive maintenance, including identifying buses needing service, coordinating bus swaps, and liaising with area managers, dispatchers, and coordinators.
- Conduct inventory management and audits at all maintenance locations per fiscal department guidelines.
- Supervise and evaluate all direct report employees.
- Handle all maintenance operational purchasing, adhering to procurement procedures.
- Maintain and report on vehicle and facility maintenance records to comply with state and federal regulations and MNDOT Transit Asset Management Plan.
- Manage third-party contractor maintenance and support work authorizations.
- Assist the Assistant Director of Maintenance in ensuring facility maintenance compliance.
- Implement quality assurance practices for all completed repairs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent education, certifications, and experience.
- Commercial driver’s license with passenger endorsements (or ability to obtain).
- Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience with proven mechanical skills in large vehicle repair.
- Computer literacy.
