Arrowhead Transit is seeking a Recruiter Travel Trainer to join our team! This full-time position is ideal for someone passionate about public transportation and community outreach. The Recruiter Travel Trainer will engage with local community members, help them understand how to use public transportation efficiently, and lead recruitment efforts to onboard volunteers. Job Responsibilities
- Identify and recruit potential volunteers through outreach efforts and networking.
- Educate seniors, individuals with disabilities, and other stakeholders about using public transportation effectively and independently.
- Assist in developing and implementing training programs for both individuals and groups.
- Attend community meetings and events to promote the travel training program and recruit volunteers.
- Work closely with transit staff to onboard and support volunteers throughout the year.
- Conduct volunteer training sessions and ensure all training activities adhere to company policies.
- Provide ongoing support to volunteers, addressing concerns and providing necessary feedback.
Job Qualifications
- Experience with community engagement and/or public transportation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in using technology, including mobile apps and online resources.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to work independently and with diverse groups.
Essential Functions
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies and training programs.
- Facilitate volunteer orientation sessions and perform onboarding screenings.
- Coordinate outreach initiatives to community stakeholders.
- Maintain effective communication and feedback loops with volunteers.
