Arrowhead Transit at the Minnesota State Fair
Assistant Director of Administration Colette Hanson and Assistant Director of Operations Sandra Wheelecor recently spent an exciting day at the Minnesota State Fair. Alongside enjoying the incredible food, vibrant culture, and engaging with the thousands of people in attendance, they had an important mission: to talk about transit!
Advocating for Equitable and Green Transportation
The highlight of the day was the opportunity to advocate for equitable and sustainable transportation solutions. Colette and Sandra proudly shared information about Arrowhead Transit’s commitment to providing accessible and environmentally-friendly transit options across Minnesota. Engaging with the fair’s attendees, they discussed how our services are helping to reduce carbon footprints and make transportation accessible to everyone, regardless of location or background.
“Rolling in Green” with MnDOT
Partnering with the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) made the experience even more impactful. Being at the heart of one of Minnesota’s biggest events allowed Arrowhead Transit to connect with the public and demonstrate our shared vision for a greener, more equitable future in transportation.
A Day Well Spent
From conversations about transit to enjoying the best of what the state fair has to offer, it was a day filled with learning, advocacy, and plenty of fun. Colette and Sandra’s presence highlighted Arrowhead Transit’s ongoing dedication to community engagement and sustainability.
