Arrowhead Transit has officially launched the next phase of its RideSmart 2025 initiative—a complete redesign of public transit service in Chisago and Isanti counties. After months of data analysis, rider surveys, and operational review, we’ve developed a draft plan aimed at making rural transit more efficient, accessible, and aligned with the needs of our communities.
The RideSmart 2025 redesign addresses longstanding challenges in the current system, including gaps in service coverage, inconsistent scheduling, and limited access to key destinations. The proposed routes offer simplified connections, consistent $3 and $5 fares, and expanded reach into growing residential areas.
From now until May 1, we are asking the public to weigh in. You can review the full draft plan, attend a local meeting, and/or share your feedback with our team.
Your feedback will directly influence the final plan, which is set to launch on June 2, 2025.
